Lowlight Concealed Handgun

•Employing guns and lights from concealment

•Covert Carry Methods

•Reactive Movement

•Decision-making in lowlight

•Blue-on-blue mitigation

•Plain-clothes, UC, and Off-duty considerations

•Considerations for responsibly armed citizens

•Vehicle exits / Fighting out of vehicles

•Equipment / Gear selection

Student Equipment List:

Reliable Handgun w/ spare magazines

Concealment Holster (Solid kydex/plastic holster that allows for a safe and efficient draw & return to the holster. Holster must securely attach to the body via belt, band, etc.)

500 rounds of handgun ammunition

Eye and ear protection

Handheld flashlight w/ extra batteries

*Weapon light recommended but not mandatory

Chem or marker lights

Tourniquet

Water and snacks

(Clothing: It is strongly recommended that you dress in your normal daily/work/off-duty attire. Take into account clothing for inclement weather.)

 
NLTA (SIMS) Equipment List:

**This is provided for this course. IF you have access to these items, it would be appreciated if you can bring what you have to supplement the training.**

NLTA handgun / conversion (UTM, Simmunitions, etc.)

200 NLTA handgun marking rounds

NLTA specific mask / helmet (No paintball masks)

Other PPE (Neck, groin, hand protection)
